Probable Log Lines for My Film

Log Lines

One man fantasizes over angelic babes and fried chicken while another questions his younger brothers death. Three guys experience short-lived bliss while a young lady struggles to keep them together and alive.

Aliens, a groovy God, and ice cream accompanies this tale of a young man seeking validation of his younger brother’s spiritual well being.

When you fall short of understanding ask God, the groovy guy with angel babes and fried chicken. This is just what Maurice does in this comedic tale.

God, the groovy guy with angel babes and fried chicken, temporarily reunites Maurice to his young brother’s spirit in this hippy afterlife.

Maurice transcends to God’s groovy heaven of angel babes and fried chicken to speak with his dead brother one last time.

Who does Maurice searches for in heaven? (The spirit of his dead Brother)

Why do they get ran over? (Maurice is grieving over his young brother being dead and runs towards the street. The friends pursue him and they get ran over)

Grieving over the death of his brother, a young man causes himself and two other friends to get hit by an ice cream car only to transcend to the almighty groovy God for answers.

A young man grieves over the death of his young brother and ultimately causing himself and his buds a near death experience with the infamous groovy Mr. G.

With a murder, ice cream car accidents and urethra probing at play, three young men experience heaven with the groovy man upstairs for answers.

Frustrated with the death of his dead brother, a young man and his friends experience the afterlife with the almighty groovy Mr. G.

EXT. OUTSIDE IN PARK SITTING ON BENCH - DAY

GABRIEL MAURICE is sitting on a bench staring at a bible with a cross as his bookmark. (Maurice is morning over his brothers death. He died in a church.)

As he sits a strange woman approaches and sits beside him. Lost in thought, Gabriel doesn't notices her. FIRST LADY LIBERTY is the female protagonist that assists Gabriel in overcoming his grief and encourage his awakening.

She walks over to Maurice with her flag and lantern in hand. Places flag on ground and sits beside Maurice.

LADY LIBERY Its not your fault

Maurice is engrossed in thought and doesn't notices her. Still thinking back to the last words he spoke to his brother.

GABRIEL MAURICE (V.O.) You should pray about it bro. You

know you don't need to be doing that. How long as it been?......You know what if you don't get it together, I will.

                    LADY LIBERTY           It's not your fault

Maurice notices her this time and turns head towards her.

GABRIEL MAURICE Ugh........who are you?

                    LADY LIBERTY           I'm your liberator.

                    GABRIEL MAURICE

Huh?

LADY LIBERTY
I'm the First Liberty given to your

nation but I was rejected. My vessel lies in France but my spirit is within the hearts of the strong and just. For centuries after the civil war I have seen the world's freedom and justice crumble. I have come here to repair this world and bring a revolutionized new age.

LADY LIBERTY
Tis isn't a joke. I picked you

because I feel your weening spirit and you yearn for change. For far too long, the divisions of mankind through religious denominations keeps us spiritually disconnected from God and from ourselves.

GABRIEL MAURICE
So does race, money and what you do

with your life, but I ain't complaining.

LADY LIBERTY
But through spiritual connection

one can understand another and rally a new change.

LADY LIBERTY
Knowing that God in one religion

transcends through all other religions will encourage connection among mankind. From Isis, Horus, and Ra to Christianity, God has transmogrified throughout time to reach mankind. Different forms of worship same God.

White Demon appears behind and places his hand on Gabriel Shoulders. Lady Liberty is stunned by it's presence and

GABRIEL MAURICE
This is all a bunch of junk. I

EXT. OUTSIDE IN PARK SITTING ON BENCH
Maurice sits in the same spot. Lady comes over again.

GABRIEL MAURICE Woooo!..... What are you a stalker?

                    LADY LIBERTY           I'm a Goddess

                    GABRIEL MAURICE           And I'm Zeus

LADY LIBERTY .......So why this bench?

GABRIEL MAURICE Well,.......um......it's were we

use to hang out. we talked about everything from girls......God.......chickens.....

LADY LIBERTY Chickens!? (giggles)

GABRIEL MAURICE Yeah...........(soft laugh)

LADY LIBERTY I know you miss him

Suddenly the White Demon approaches again. This time Lady Liberty is ready and alert.

White Demon touches Gabriel shoulders, and Gabriel goes into a depression

He covers his face in shame and pain.
Lady Liberty lifts her lanten towards the demon.

LADY LIBERTY

Rebuke!

The demon scatters away in terror into the darkness. Hastily she gets Gabriel attention again.

LADY LIBERTY
You dont have to live like this.

You must accept God of all religions if you yearn for resolution. I know your spirit is confused and ready for change.

GABRIEL MAURICE I just don't know anymore.

Two Demons reappear and approach Gabriel. Liberty looks up at them worried.

LADY LIBERTY
I know you'll make the right choice

White demons place hands on the shoulders of Gabriel

GABRIEL MAURICE
You need to get away from me. You

and your blashpemy and go straight to hell. Lord Jesus Christ is my only God.

She gets up and walks a few steps away and turns head to her left

LADY LIBERTY I still believe in you

EXT. OUTSIDE IN PARK SITTING ON BENCH

Lady comes again and sits in the same spot. She stares at him with a genuine smile.

Hey

.....Your strength,

GABRIEL MAURICE LADY LIBERTY

LADY LIBERTY
spirit is waning in but......

GABRIEL MAURICE Can we not do this

Liberty sighs.. akward silence befalls them. Soon after the two demons approach and liberty looks up frantically.

LADY LIBERTY
Now is not the time to wait for an idol to make your life better. You have to act and choose God through

your convictions. Only then will closure and enlightenment fill your heart.

The demons touch both shoulders of Gabriel Maurice

LADY LIBERTY I believe in you!

Gabriel looks up. Demons start to look puzzled and anxiously at Gabriel.

Gabriel grabs their clutches.

Lady liberty smiles

The Demons suddenly the darkness.

Darkness fades

hands and release himself from their

walk backwards and disappeared through

LADY LIBERTY
I know you had it in you

GABRIEL MAURICE

Thank You

She reaches for symbols of many religions and meshes them

together.

They are formed into emblems of Rebirth.

LADY LIBERTY
These are for people who have grown

into choosing to strengthen spirit through God.

GABRIEL MAURICE
Im still somewhat confused but I'm

willing to learn the truth

LADY LIBERTY
Come with me and I will show you

all you need to know
They hold hands and walk away into the void.

ACT 1 The Setup

A) What is the story's setting?

3. What does each character represent in the work's design? Obtain disciples, bring enlightenment and truth to the people.
4. What is the main character's agenda--what must he or she get, do, or accomplish?

5. Through whose point of view do we mainly experience the story? Gabriel Maurice

Some people experience the truth but with the influence of the White Demon they reject it.

A) What drives the situation toward the final crisis point? People deny the White Demon Influence.
B) Where do opposing forces come into the final, decisive confrontation? Gives emblems to others who accept.
C) How is the apex of the problem resolved, and which of the opposing forces wins? Gabriel and disciples win
D) Does anyone learn and grow, even minimally, from this resolution, and if so, how? The people they are willing to fight for a revolution and accept the enlightenment.
